i said limpy, but it has to be in-between.
my school serves bacon crispy, and it breaks with a snap when i bend it at all

when i cook my bacon, i like it when it's not limpy (like any other cooked meat) but not completely crispy

hard to explain beyond "in-between"

So crisp that in a blind taste test it would be the equivalent to chewing a bone .. that's crisp *crRrrunchh*

I don't like it limp, but I don't like it crispy.

Stiff, but still soft? I like it when you can bend the bacon, and it will break slowly, but not snap.

I prefer crisp, but not overdone and crumbly.

This . . . which requires reduced heat at the end and attention.

Let each piece drip its fat while on the tongs and then place each on the virginal absorbent goodness off a quality paper towel, folding over again to cover both sides.

Nirvana.

If it weren't for pork and pork products, I would consider unquestioning obeisance to Allah, may peace and blessings be upon his name.

Well . . . maybe not. 😉

crispy.

and i'm glad only 2% of people voted "i don't like bacon". that reaffirms my faith in humanity

A little bit of both. Overly crispy can be dry or burned. And limp bacon really isn't very good, kind of like chewing a slip of animal fat.

Bacon must be crispy, yet juicy.

I can't imagine anything good can come from being limpy. I like it crispy/crunchy. I love bacon - it's my favorite vegetable.
