Yeah, just when you thought the world was safe from Jessie...he returns.

Yup. Looks like my GF and I have a lot to look forward to

Really not all that bad. My wife and I have been together for 8 years now (married four) and haven't had anything worse than an odd look or stupid comment from an idiot friend. Living in a city like Atlanta helps.

Seriously, does he have his own version of the bat signal or something?

My GF and I have been together for 1.5 years. Only once incident. We were at a gas station and I got out to pump some gas then went inside to redeem my free carwash ticket and some jackass in a pickup looked over at my GF while I was inside and shook his head at her and spit on the ground. Then he was staring me down as I walked back to the car. I didn't know what the hell was up until I got back in the car and my GF told me what happened.

Interestingly enough, that took place about 10 mins away from where this incident happened

Yeah well, that's the Charlotte, NC area for you. I've got a friend who lives there now and is ready to get out.

My favorite incident was when we walked into a McDonald's in Orlando when we just got into town. There was a little black girl probably around 6 who looked at this white man walking in holding hands with a black woman and said, "Awwww hell no."

If they're dumb enough to have motives for hate crimes, then they will probably filter themselves out of society soon enough

"Jackson calls the burn an act of terrorism."

Way to go, Jesse. Hop on that bandwagon of applying the latest buzzword to everything in sight (although it does fit in this case)

I bet in 1982 the article would have stated "Jackson calls the burn an act of communism".

The 2nd article makes no mention of Jesse. You can read that one.

Becuase they are idiots. They don't know any better. There are some ignorant, intolerant tigh A$$es in this country. I think thats very cowardly of people. burning a cross. But then again, stuff like this will keep happening, maybe not in america, but it will happen in other parts of the world. people hate people.

edit: maybe i hope stuff like this won't happen in america anymore. maybe not while i'm still alive, but one can hope we as a country can move past this kind of sh!t.

First this crap happens all over the place.
Second it is far more likely to be dumb kids looking for excitement than someone with a racist agenda.
Not saying it can't be the local branch of the KKK but not likely
