Backup Software

Is there a program that I can use to backup a program that will automatically find all associated files, keys and registry entries. The reason I ask is some programs have to be reinstalled and then multiple incremental patches installed one at a time sometimes requiring reboots between each one. This can be too time consuming.

So are you trying to back up a program state so that you don't have to do updates after reinstalling an OS?

Yes, If I do a OS reinstall I would like to be able to just restore a program with all updates, settings and registry entries in place.
