Backup Software: Replication of Folders/Sync (Synctoy?)

Here is what I have. I am currently running a Netgear ReadyNas NV+ with 6tb of capable storage (4x2tb drives). I am currently only using about half. I just purchased a Western Digital 3tb My Book for redundancy and will periodically take a backup of what is on my NAS. From there, I will upload this all to my $6 a month, unlimited data cloud backup from Crashplan.

My question is does anyone recommend any backup software that will take what is on my NAS and place it on my My Book drive with scheduled replication? Synctoy seems to be a good fit, but I have also lost all my data before thanks to the tool. I don't trust it, nor is it automatic.

Western Digital has software called Myware. Will this work? I certainly don't mind paying for software that will do what I want. I just need recommendations.

Check out Create Synchronicity, and Karen's Replicator (no need to fix what isn't broke, right?).

Never heard of, "Myware," but I've yet to be impressed by any of the available WD or Seagate user tools, save for diagnostics.

I use PureSync for my file synchronising needs. I stopped using SyncToy years ago because it kept missing files. SyncToy also hasn't been updated since 2009.

On a related note, any suggestions for a "verification" tool to test existing files on a source and destination? I've already created a copy of my files, but I don't trust them fully, and want to somehow check them against each other.

I realize I can just delete and re-copy by using teracopy to check the CRC during the copy procedure, but wanted to find out if anyone can suggest something to verify files that have already been copied?

I think it's relevant to this thread because Synctoy is not reliable, so if you've used it, you may also want such a tool to confirm your copied destination files match the source. Any suggestions?
