backup/restore Outlook 2002? I plan on formatting my drive...

and would like to backup my folders, inbox, subfolders, etc. w/ all the emails. I would also like to backup my contacts, calendars, etc. How can I do this?

I am running XP and also Outlook 2002.. any help? Thank you in advnce..

FILE - IMPORT AND EXPORT - EXPORT TO A FILE - PERSONAL FOLDER FILE (.PST) - From there choose what folders and the like you want in your backup and you're good to go :)

The way i do it with Outlook express is just load up windows explorer and search for inbox.dbx and so on...

Why the hell they didnt build an export feature into the program is BEYOND me.

so if i choose export.. it only allows me to choose one folder at the top and the subfolders.. what if i wnat to do contacts, that means i'll have a PST for every main category? How bout the calendars and contacts backup? thx again..

yeah... just search for the dbx or the mmf files...
i think. :p

i did it once. all i did was save those files on a disk and put it back in after i had reformatted my stuff.

Choose "Personal Folders" and check the "Include Subfolders" option and everything should be included in the PST file that you create :)
