Hi,
My company is a Microsoft Partner, so it receives all products from Microsoft.
Instead of asking for a specific DVD and moving the original disk around the desk, I would like to make a backup so to avoid any problems.
The thing is, the DVD has a total data reported of 6Gb ... I don't know if it's double layer DVD, or if they messed up with data to "fake" a total 6Gb.
So I have some questions:
1# How can I check if a DVD is double layer or single layer?
2# I can't burn double layer, so assuming the data fit's into a single layer and they messed up the bits (i will be sure when I check if it's DL or not), what software can I use to achieve bit-by-bit backup and transfer all that "fake" info?
This DVD is usefull because it contains all operating systems we use for development and testing, and so they are all on the same media. It would not be of such a perfect usage if I split info to 2-3 DVDs ... so a clean backup would be the best option.
Thank you
