only sweet cars should be backed in.

nothing worse than trying to park in the garage at work and having to wait for some douchebag to back his 6 year old escalade into a spot via 8 point turn just because he thinks it makes him special.

I back in at work (downtown Detroit) so my tailgate is against the wall.

It may be moot, since I have a "soft" tanneau cover, but I figure it's at least a deterrent. 🙂

I back into my driveway because I live on a fairly busy street, so its easier and safer to get out this way.
In parking lots, I just pull in or through.
I think I may have backed into some spots at school when I didn't have a valid parking sticker or maybe my friends did this, I don't remember, lol.

Here in Hawaii, it is all everyone does. My wife is not from Hawaii and I didn't realize the practice here until she pointed it out...

I back in at work, even if I don't have to every now and then to practice. I almost always back in at malls and "real" lots with people because it's easier and safer. You back in, you might hit some retard jumping into your spot. To avoid this, just look back and keep scanning.

I find that if I back out, I have to concentrate too much on where my ass is, where the front end is as I steer, and traffic in a live lane that I can't see well, including peddies. So, gotta focus on 4 things. This doesn't even include the fact that you can't see shit until half your car is in a live lane, and it's hard to watch both sides when your straining to look behind you.
