The idea is that google app is trying to download the ota 4.3. However,m since we are on custom rom it won't work, so it keep downloading and trying to update.

I'd stick to 10.1 for now until the bugs are ironed out on 10.2. The whole new SU approach and persistent notifications requires some time for apps to adapt to.

i've never had this happen and i've ran jbsourcery for 2-3 different versions. thank link with others complaining makes me feel better i suppose. i saw SEVERAL 140mb-150mb files on my data usage via att.com site.

Probably because they don't have an OTA fix.

CM does have it for sure.

i guess im just super lucky as in all the roms ive used all must have had this fix

If they're CM based then they have it. This is usually never a problem because a new OS doesn't come out and the devs don't know.

Yikes! It looks like it's auto-update doing it. Just switch it to WiFi only!!!!!!! I thought that was the default! You can still manually do updates on LTE if you want, but there's no point in having it always automatically keep your apps up to date over your data connection.

Its not the app, its the ROM.
