I had that one.

Honestly, the scar on his face freaked me out. They could have left that out.

I also had the 6 million dollar man and a cowboy teenager. They had some great adventures together in our house!

I got a GI Joe with the Kung-Fu Grip for my 10th birthday in 1976. I then ran some kite string from the top of the garage down to the sidewalk with the idea of watching my GI Joe slide down using his hands like the manly action figure he is. Well, he slid down the string alright, but he lost his fingers in the process due to the friction. Damn, was I pissed.

Anybody else find that the .45 pistol from the CLUE boardgame fit rather nicely with GI Joe?

Dear God...

12K for that. I understand collectibles cost more than other older toys. But that's just nuts.

That guys dreaming, it goes for 500.

Pretty cool, weren't they $100 new? I always wanted Transformers Fortress Maximus, but he's spendy now as well.

I never did see the aircraft carrier outside of store displays. Was it big enough for the planes to actually land on it? LOL. They made it look six feet long in the commercials.

And $350 for shipping.

We had a GI Joe in the 70's. My brother crucified him, using finishing nails.

I had the Millenium Falcon in the 80's. Twas pretty cool, even had removable floor panels so you could hide guys in there like in the movie. There was only one gun turret though.

Plus the Star Wars guys didn't have any frickin' joints.

That's right was 81.... I was 10 when Empire came out and it was the best movie ever made, after Starwars, today I can't even watch them. Luke's such a whinny bitch.

About the joints - micronauts had full joints even feet that's what was so cool about them then.
