oregon and new jersey are the only two states that forbid drivers to pump their own gas.

Just for you
:music:
Too much carbon monoxide for me to bare,
Too much carbon monoxide for me to bare,
Where's the air?
Where's the air?
Where's the air?
Where's the air?

Car after bus after car after truck,
After this my lungs will be so f**ked up,
I wish I was in that Mercedes Benz,
Sealed away from my sins,
I'd have the music high, Going 95, Ahhhh...
:music:

Ok why is it they have to hire someone to do it? to increase jobs? or just to dangerous?

Are the tips good? I remember tipping 2 bucks before I moved to a self serve state. Also gas was a lot cheaper then 🙂

keep the chin up. i have a lot more respect for you than most people. at least you are working, and dont' have everything handed to you.

when you graduate and get another job, you'll appreciate things more.

I never tip those asshloes (not to say that you are one, but most I have dealt with are)... half the time they don't even screw my gas cap on all of the way if I don't watch them.

Typical Experience for me at the only full service gas station I ever go to (the last sunnoco in NJ heading south on US202 going home):
I get out of the car, unlock the locking gas cap, wait for the schmuck to take the nozzle off the hook, put it in my car, punch regular and pump. Then it takes him so long to get back to me, I release the lock, put the pump back on the hook, put my own gascap back on and chase the fvcker down to give him my CC. If I was omnipresent, he'd be on my top 100 people that must die list.

I am pumping gas this summer also.

But, I am working in a marina full of beautiful yachts, making $13/hr, and bringing in almost $100 in tips on a good day.
