Think this is any good ? Seems to have several "episodes" launching over time for it.

25 x 5 = 125
It's $25 for all five episodes. I'm guessing you've never purchased a Telltale game before. This is how they do their episodic games. You pay the price up front for the "season" and you get every episode as it's released.

Yes it's definitely $25 for all five episodes, and if it's anything like the Tales of Monkey Island revisits or Sam and Max it's about 3-4 hours per episode. I haven't tried it yet, but will probably do so at some point.

THe forums seem negative, and the game is supposed to look like total shit. As in something from the 90s

I would love a good time travel game but this doesn't seem like it.

Giant Bombs Quicklook. It looks like it captures the feel of the original movies, but I'm not a fan of the gameplay. I think I'll just watch a playthrough on Youtube when they are all released.

I have the game (was a gift from a friend). I like it - gives a nice BTTF vibe when playing. Christopher Lloyd is epic, as usual :D Michael J. Fox's replacement is okay, doesn't have the original's energy in the voice though - sounds a bit whiny. All in all, I think it's worth it.

If you're willing to wait, I seem to recall that you can get the first episode for free from Telltale. The only catch is you can't download it until after they release the second episode. Personally, I am going to wait to play the first one using this deal and then if I like it I'll wait until the season comes up for a sale price again.

I watched a trailer out of curiosity, but there's NO way I'll buy it. Marty's face looks perpetually surprised. It creeps me out. The way he moves reminds me of those dolls that come to life and try to kill you. Fucking evil murderdolls.

I glossed over this because I wrongly assumed that everybody knew it, but this is an adventure game. Point and click to walk around on screen, try to combine items to solve puzzles, talk to NPCs, etc. The graphics are very representative of the genre. If you don't like adventure games then simply liking Back to the Future will not be enough to make it a fun game for you.

If you have never played an adventure game before, you can get two of the all-time classics (secret of monkey island, secret of monkey island 2) on Steam in a bundle for $15. They periodically go on sale for much cheaper than that as well.

The Telltale adventure games are not point and click. You use directional keys to move the character and then choose to interact with the objects in front of them. It is a bit annoying to do this but at the same it makes more sense in a three dimensional environment.

I don't think I'll buy this one at a time if it's any good. I'll just get the set when it come on sale later on steam, probably put down like 30-40 for the set then.

Yea, it is only $25 for the 5 episodes now. Each time a new episode is released, just download through Steam.

I think how it works though, is if you don't purchase lets say the first 3 episodes, and you pay the $25 when the 4th episode is released, you can go back and download Episodes 1 through 3 for free since you paid the $25. So it don't matter when you pay the $25, because you'll have to regardless "unless a price drop" but you will still get all 5 episodes.

I think.

The movies were entertaining, but the gameplay doesn't look all that interesting. /relevant comment.

The Ravens are going down Sunday.

I have the first episode of BTTF. It isn't that bad. Its entertaining enough . :)

And no. The Chiefs is not going to defeat Baltimore. LOL....Surely your kidding right ? Of course any given Sunday. But this Sunday, isn't the one.

Now lets get "Back To The Past" and talk about "Back To The Future".

Ok, I think I just confused myself.

If you're a big fan of the Back to the Future mythology (and I am), this game is great. The first episode includes oodles of fan service and they do a really good job of starting a new adventure after BTTF 3.

Can't wait for episode 2 personally. Also looking forward to seeing Telltale's upcoming Jurassic Park game.

The way everyone in this post is talking the game sounds horrible, but after watching the quicklook at Giant Bomb, it looks great. I am definitely going to buy this.
