They have tools on the net that are freely distributed to crack Windows/Linux accounts to gain access to data on that machine. Do you think the authors of those programs should be prosecuted too? Will it sway your opinion any if I told you those tools are used by IT departments to retrieve data off EX-employees machines that have purposely locked the company's machine with only ONE account that THEY created? Hmmm?
Why would this sway my opinion again? I forget.
So let me get this straight, you are so much of a robot that you see a malicious hacker and a person cracking security to get data off there OWN machine as the same thing? Man, you sound like a genius.

Note to self: JackBurton cannot explain why this is supposed to sway my opinion. Got it.

I hope this lawsuit gets dismissed as well because it is completely out of line. There are so many softwares out there that allow people to decrypt or burn DVD's and they havent been charged. For example, Instant Copy made by Pinnacle is very widely used to copy DVD's but I dont see a lawsuit against them. There are two key issues over here:

1) If he put a disclaimer in the software that it can only be used for legal purposes, then the case will be dismissed because I sure know that Instant Copy, DVD shrink and other software have that in their disclaimer/user agreement.

2) He is a small fish and the MPAA feels that going after him is going to be easy. In any case, if there is fund to help him with his case, I will definitely be among many to throw some money into it.

Seems like you're the one who's avoiding the questions posed to you...several of them...

Several questions? Really? As usual, you demonstrate your utter lack of logical capacities, this time an inability to count.

I answered Jack Burton's question with a question. That being, to expound upon his reasoning as to why I was supposed to be swayed by that argument. He failed to do so.
