Me = tomorrow into an off campus apartment (yay). Won't actually 'live' there till Sunday though, then school starts Wednesday.

What about the rest of you?

I won't be moving back in till September 19th... school doesn't start till Sept. 24th.

Then again, school doesn't end till like June 11th this year. Quarters - both a blessing and a curse. Short 10 week classes, but 3 of them a year, and to get it done properly with a winter break, gotta start late and end late.

I'm already moved into my apartment as I work in a lab on campus, but classes don't start till September 29th. Hooray quarters.

I go home. I go to school about 6 hours away. It's just cheaper to live at home, even though I still pay rent at my house at school. I also like to come back to see my high school friends, and everybody I know in university goes home as well.

I lived around 200 miles away until I moved for school. Most everyone I know moves home for school. To me it always seemed to be a PITA to move home for 3 months and then try to find a place again, pay deposits, etc.

Unlike most of my friends I couldn't afford to pay rent on a place that I wasn't living at, thought I would love to do that and be able to go home. :)

My school is not in my hometown, it's 2.5 hours away. I live at home (parents) during the summer, and spend my time here during winter break too. Plus, I'd have to pay to live at school during the summer. I live in an on-campus apartment (officially dorms, but basically an apartment), and I have a housing scholarship from my school's Army ROTC program.
Big bonus is that I spend a lot of time with my parents, and use a lot of time to see my friends that go to school in my hometown.

Well, I'm home for 4 months and all the leases I looked at in Guelph began in May, so I was able to find a house while I was at school.

i also live at home and pay rent during the summer. The way they price apts at my college is so fucked up...its almost cheaper to get a 12 month lease than it is a 9/10 month one.

Would you happen to go to a WA state school? Because those are the exact days for my university. I can't wait to go back, summer is getting a bit boring.

Nope, I go to The Ohio State University. :)

I can wait to go back, but I am also kind of excited to return. I'll be a junior. School itself isn't the issue that's making me not quite ready to return, it's the new responsibilities I'll have as a junior in Army ROTC. Going to be a huge change. Sometimes ROTC feels too slow, because it has to span the length of a 4-year degree... and the training almost makes me feel like I am nowhere near ready to go active... thankfully that's because the first two years of the program are extremely slow. Next year will be interesting for sure.
