thanks for the heads up!

Yea thanks beatle...got one even though my i560 is perfect. Guess you're not going to get your i550 repaired huh? 😉

I actually did send my i850 off to be repaired. I bought some Canon ink for $30, then sent it off. When it comes back, I should be able to sell it for around the same price as I got this printer. 🙂

I accidently tripped across a hot deal on the IP3000 at Office Max today. I priced matched to Staples who had it for 79.99 - then much to my suprise a $50 rebate printed out. After rebate it will be $29.99 plus tax on $79.99 - about $37.XX bucks.

have this printer, works great. I don't print pictures though.

anyway, anyone know how to convert the printer to print on cds?

That sure would be nice...

I think the European versions have this ability. I wonder if it's just a matter of ordering the proper part from Canon.

i love my mp390 😀 $1.50 cartridges and fax/scanner/copier... too.. amazon for $32 dollars thanks to aol.

Argh! Got my IP3000 but it was damaged in shipping. One of the top corners was crushed a little. I opened the box only to find Canon packs the ink carts in the top corners of the box and had two stacked on each other on the corner that was damaged. The blue cart was leaking. Guess I'll test it to see if it works. Don't want to have to send it back. Canon really did a poor job with their package engineering on this printer.

It's Baaack...

One Day Deals - Good until 5:30 PST Today (12/28/04).!.

Canon Pixma iP3000

$66.99 shipped. -- Not a stretch to say that this is the best printer at anywhere near this price, period!

.bh.

Target has Canon 4x6 photo paper (same kind that came with this printer) for ~$5.66 for 50 sheets. They are around $14 everywhere else.
