It's back boys...I just ordered another pair. Can't beat 128 MB notebook RAM for $70. And yes they have more i just checked!!!

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00001U0CU/104-6655596-7355144

This is PNY "Memory Master" RAM. SoDIMM (for notebooks). PC66 MHz. Funny, I just today received the same RAM order I placed last week. This is great stuff for notebooks. And with the RAM prices right now, You can easily sell this for $140.

EDIT:
good news: SoDIMM back in stock
bad news: seems like they changed the price up to $199

Does anyone know if this works with a Dell Inspiron 3200 model? Would really be useful if it does! Thanks.

i beleive all Dells use standardized rams so yes i think it would work. But even if it doesn;t you can easyly sell it for $140+. Even if I didn't have a notebook, I'd still buy this rams at this price.

better hurry...it's kinda weird. If it says "back-ordered", just hit refresh a few times, it'll come back in stock. I think someone is adding and deleting from their cart because Amazon uses real-time inventory

Does anyone know if the IBM Thinkpad 14xx (2421) series has
a 66Mhz bus or a 100Mhz bus. (These are Celeron processor machines)?
I believe they have a 66Mhz bus (making this memory perfect for
them), but IBM is not too forthcoming on their web site (or else
has cleverly hidden the info).

At any rate, ordered a couple of sticks. Guess I will Fleabay them
if they aren't appropriate. Oddly, the sticks came up as backordered
when I actually clicked on the place order button (but order
went through).

Thanks for the heads up.

Damn, no go here. But for future ref, does anyone know if this work in an I-Opener? I'm on the mailing list. Nice deal for sure. Thanks 403.

yes I heard on fatwallet that these work on iopener...

also, don't rely on the Amazon email update to tell you when these are back in stock. I am on the same update list. Last week they had at least 4 stick in, and I bought 2. I didn't get any email update tho. Just right now, they had a number of sticks. Again, I didn't get an update. Your best bet is just to bookmark the actuall page and just check it regularly. (helps if you work in front of 'puter heheheh)

You can have them email you when it comes back in stock. That's what I'll do...then order a bunch, likely :)

Excellent RAM, I put it into my Iopener and was quite happy with it. Good deal, and a good product, but beware the Anand effect!

Does anyone know if this RAM is compatible with which PowerBook/iBook models?

Looks like the Amazon web site says it's still out of stock :(

Well, I put an order in for two sticks of it last week at the $70 price. Hopefully they'll honor the price, and if they charge me the $200 price, it will most surely put my CC over the limit ($500 limit so I'm not tempted too much by these hot deals:) ). I think I have an order confirmation around here somewhere.....now, if they'd just ship it to me...

Don't think you can. I had it in my cart and they changed the price. Mine better ship tomorrow, cause I ordered it a couple weeks ago. And I could have gotten a few more if it weren't for the Amazon toy shopping spree/fiasco. It would seem like this item was mispriced(costs barely more than 32 mb sodimm), but they sure kept it up a long time through so many backorders.
