Back from my Vacation, now i don't want to go to work.

after 2 week vacations, I love going back to work... 2 weeks is plenty time to recharge. Even after coming back from Hawaii or even a cruise... just want to get back to the daily routine... I can only lounge around for so long. If it's only been a week... that's understandable.

BTW, where'd you go / what'd you do ?

actually it was my second vacation this month. of course i hadn't taken a vacation in 4 yrs before that so my family was due.

1st week of august i went to Niagra Falls, this last week i was in LA, CA visiting my parents and brother (and his family).

2 1 week vacations and i still had a good month of sales (small business).

i think i'm just going to call off today and take the day off, mb go watch a movie this afternoon.

i'll start work tomorrow.
 
I felt the same way when we came back from Alaska. At the time it occured to me how much I disliked my job. But after a few months I got over it and I enjoy my job again... might have helped had I not been so angry with my job prior to leaving to Alaska. 😛
 
I'm just back from a 2 week vacation and I start a new job in 2 weeks... shouldn't be a bad 2 weeks of work 🙂
 
back to work blues suck. it's nice to have a day where you sit around and do diddly squat. sort of like a vacation from the vacation... and then back to work. but, this is coming from someone who has a hard enough time dealing with Mondays 🙂
 
I try to set myself up so that I have a day or two when I get back from vacation to unwind. Then it's not so terrible.

I'm going on a cruise next week (9/4) and returning 9/11... I just realized I took 9/12 off from work. I had forgotten about that... such awesome planning by my former self.

kinda sorta. i do support for about 25 clients (mostly medical offices). i picked up 4 new clients this month. mostly while on vacation.

Almost sounds like you work for PCC or something of the sort. BTW I was in Niagara the last week of July, very nice place if you don't mind the run down industrial look.

Good idea! The outsourced IT dept. I work for is about to get it's contract cancelled I think. We do the same type of thing in the same field (med./tec.) I should steal your idea and the profits from these wealthy doctors!

So are you making triple digits? I actually want to start my own business some day.
