Yeah, you're right about the attitude towards people who don't live there.
My sister lives in Montreal. You'll find a lot of animosity towards anyone who isn't french.
That sounds stereotypical, but it is true.
It is only fair, though, considering how they get treated by other Canadians/Americans who make fun of the french.

Gorgeous women, as you mentioned. 🙂

You know you can get all or part of that refunded don't you? Hotels, clothing, etc., qualifies. Food & stuff you consumed in Canada doesn't.

yeah, i did that. they'll usually have the form at your hotel. make sure you save all your receipts.

Thats why I'll be taking French courses to brush up on the language.

Since you are in NY, make sure the course is Quebecois French and not France French.

There is a substantial difference between the two. 🙂

i cant speak a damn lick of french, but im from the west..

you don't need french... but the frenchies don't like you if you can't speak it 😛
i go to Quebec every summer, and i ufortunately do not speak much french... i always have a good time 🙂
but some people can be dinks about it. (Montrealers sometimes)

Your right man... I know Very little french (i understood cuz I took Spanish for 4 years... its not the same but I made out the signs and things people said to me) Every one thought I was french too. I have long hair, tall and pretty good sense of fashion.

When they found out im from NY they were suprised (some girls intrigued) Some were snobs and real A holes cuz I didn't know French. Thats why I'll be taking French courses to brush up on the language. Man I even hooked up with a few ladies there (no I didn't PAY for it) I'm not like that. Toronto was real good too. Freaking awsome Asian chicks. 😀

lol, you're hilarious dude.. sounds like you had a blast.. hehe
see ya again soon!! 😛😛

You want hot asian chicks? Come to Vancouver, its frickin China in North America. Lotsa hot asian chicks here.. I'd know one of them is my girlfriend.

A) Yes, Montreal is great. The night life is great downtown and the women are hot.
B) People generally don't act snobby if you don't know French. Obviously some will, it's a consequence of the "let's protect French" attitude the government has. I don't really agree with it but I can't say I blame them.
C) If you ever go in the suburbs, particularly in the Western part of the island, there are more people who speak English than French.

<-- loves living in Montreal

Download the form or if you pick up one, make sure it goes directly to Revenue Canada. There are many forms out there that look almost identical to the real one that goes to a broker that takes a fee off for their service. The mailing addresses for those brokers make it look like you are sending it to the government but you aren't.

some places in TeeDot are like that too. like, Chinatown for example.. 😀

I enjoy Asian chicks now and then 😀 Still man, I've calmed down a bit today. Taking it easy, getting off the "high" from Canada. Settling into life and still working again. Man 1 week was enough to get rid of all that stress.
