Hello All,

After life threw a couple curves at me I am back(at least part time) and ready to help with the F@H cause.

I have a PS3 that I might throw into the fight if I can get it folding out in the garage so I don't have to listen to it howl while I am watching TV. I also have a Q6600 system with 8GB of RAM and a Radeon 6850 running V7. I might try the SMP option later on, but for right now I am just using the regular CPU program. I believe I also have a barebones system on my workbench that I might be able to get up and running as well.

Quick question. do I have to accept the latest PS3 firmware to run F@H? The reason I ask is I remember reading you had to forfeit(sp) your rights to join a class action against Sony for how they forked up the breach of the user data.

Thanks,
Desslok

Welcome back, Desslok :)

Just in time to stay in the Top 100! You are 96th now.

Sorry I can't answer your question on the PS3 - anyone else?

Not sure about the ps3 question. I went ahead and updated the firmware because there is no way sony will get away with that move legally. Just isn't going to happen. Way too many state AG's looking to make a name for themselves politically to not make a stink about that if the need ever arises.

Go with the smp client. Simple to install and you do get bonus points after 10 wu's completed.
My X4 @3.6ghz is getting about 10,000 ppd on the smp.
