I'm truely astonished that someone that lept onto the national stage by channeling Joe McCarthy and the good old commie witch hunt days has gained such prominence. It's just sad.

Americans let it happen. Are Americans sad people?

Yes and no.

Do Americans give a damn? I'd like to think so. But based on my experiences, some just don't give a damn enough, all they do is talk, talk and talk. Wake up, work the job, and talk some more.

But not everyone wants a bad America, that much I can say.

McCarthy was right!

The 'hearings' where a smoke-screen to cover up that the information was coming from informants that where, in fact, telling the truth about the anti-democracy behaviors of those questioned.

I don't think we should be arresting people about being members of al quida or the communist party until said individuals are found to be actively involved in more than simply political speech.

I just watched about 80% of it before the internet was failing. But,

1) She'd be cute if she was 20 years younger.

2) She is a bit kooky and over prepared. Like a guy asking a gal out on a date and stayed up all night preparing for what he'd say.

3) Her message wasn't necessary bad but it was politics as usual and played on emotions. Imo Jima? Seriously.

4) Not as bad as I was expecting but still horrible. :)
