Bachelor party - is it wrong for the bachelor to hang out with his bachelorette?

This is a question for the married or at the age-of-married guys amongts us...

I'm helping to plan a bachelor party. On the agenda is a luxury suite at a baseball game, followed by a nice steak dinner, and then some bar hopping.

The bachelor wants to end the night by going to a nightclub to join his bachelorette who will be ending her bachelorette party at the same club. Is it anti-traditional for bachelor and bachelorette to see each other like this?

Usually, we go to a different city to do bachelor parties, preferbly a different state, one that the bachelorette is not in.

You want my personal opinion? I think its a FANTASTIC idea. Too many guys think the bachelor party is a time for 1 last run of screwin strange women, completely forgetting the next day their commiting themselves to one woman for the rest of their live. I dont like bachelor parties for the very reason that it seems alot of guys WANT to go screw someone else.
 
My idea for the ultimate batchelor party is a bunch of dudes in my parents garage hooked up to a lan playing Starcraft for a few hours and then going to bed after watching a movie and eating some chips and dip.


That would be so awesome... wow, can't wait for it!!!

Who cares what the bachelor "wants"? If he wants to control his own bachelor party, he is lame and/or horribly whipped.
Keep him away from the bachelorette. It's just one night, for God's sake, and the whole point is that it's the last time he will in fact be a bachelor. He doesn't have to go screw hookers or anything, just have some unsupervised fun with the guys.

I went to a bachelor party once where we met up with the girls later in the night, and it was about as boring as a bachelor party could possibly get.

Sounds like a good time, I did something similar at mine. As long as your drunk enough everone has a good time, just make sure the bachelor doesn't hit on other women if the bride to be is there.

Well, it seems all too often the guys the bachelor calls "friends" are the same ones goin through the phone book lookin for every stripper in a 50 mile radius to come screw his brains out. Now, call me old fashioned but IMO a "friend" is osmeone who repsects the bachelors choice and doesnt try to get him to break his vows or cheat on his very soon to be wife.
I guess its just me though, one of the minority who respects the sanctity of marriage.
 
Your bachelor sounds like an ass-goblin. He doesn't need to spend time with her that night. It's a night for drinking and drinking, and drinking. Not snuggles and kisses with her. BLAH.

He should be busy looking at other chicks, considering this will be his last free night. After all, he's got the rest of his life to wake up in the morning and see her.
 
This entire thing depends on what the Bachelor and Bachelorette want. Do they WANT to end both parties at the same place or is this something you are thinking about.

If you are planning without their notice, why don't you ask them? Get a feel for what they would like.

(You suck at the planning bachelor & bachelorette parties) =)

Exactly. It's not so much considered the "last night to get a random hookup" it's the "last night out with the guys", before you become your wife's slave...

You have the rest of your life to spend with your fiancee, give the bachelor's friends some fun with him and the guys. If she really has to be there at the tail end of it, then maybe they should wait until after high school to get married 😉

best man's house for passing out and staying over

OK, if your "friends" get you super-drunk and coerce you to do something stupid, that's one thing. But the best man is the one who is supposed to plan the bachelor party, and hopefully that is a person you trust.

I've been to a number of bachelor parties. Never have I been to one where anything occurred which I would say violated the "sanctity of marriage". Yet the only one which was not any fun was the one I went to where we met up with the bride-to-be and her friends. The groom was so scared of her reaction, he barely had anything to drink the whole night. The guys and girls had dinner and drinks separately, then we met up later and no one had any ideas on what to do. Everyone was bored to tears (not to mention stone-cold sober) so the party ended at like 11:00. That, to me, is not much of a bachelor party.
