Bacardi 151 Is Not For Mixing

I ran out of Brandy and Bacardi 151 is the only Rum I have in the house. I mixed 90% Coke and 10% Bacardi 151 and it's still damn strong. Oh well. It doesn't taste as good as the Skyy Cran-Vodka I had the other night but it'll do for right now.

151 and Sprite is pretty good.... put some ice in it and once it gets just a little watered down it is almost like a mild lemonade.

i havent touched bacardi 151 in years and id sure as hell never mix it with mountain dew

Well I wanted a drink and all I have in the house is some Winterlager, tons of tequila, vodka, and some 151. Rum and coke was the first thing to come to mind.

if you're going to water alcohol down, why not just use something better for mixing like regular rum or vodka. it'll taste better and be just as strong....

i got away from rum and coke and i prefer straight rum now. im fond of captain morgans private stock, their cheaper spiced stuff is awful, and 151 isnt worth anything unless its for shots.

come to think of it, i havent bought any liquor lately, i should get some soon.

as far as im concerned liquor is for one of two things:

shots or flavor. its pretty obvious which of those categories 151 falls into

It's decent in coffee drinks...usually just take shots though.
Only done that a couple times over the last year or so, but I used to drink it quite a bit
