There's maybe 3 or 4 species of eukaryotes and maybe 100 or so species of protists (bacteria) that live in those conditions. Is that the kind of company that Canadians are proud to keep?

44F, rainy...I hate this freaking weather. Possibility of deadly southern ice this weekend, I hope my hot tub doesn't freeze over.

I was out in the Hot tub 2 nights ago and it was -2 F out. My eyelashes were freezing together if I sat too far out:openmouth:

It's been in the upper 20's and low 30's (Freedom degrees) here at night. Rain coming in tonight, will (hopefully) warm things up a bit...the RV is cool at night when it's this cold.

You can't say that anymore. The PC / #metoo /#methree /#lonelycrazycatladies have spoken.

Hahaha yeah it's ridiculous LOL.

Funny thing is I did the mistake of posting in P&N about how ridiculous the SJW movement is and being told I'm an idiot etc for thinking the movement is stupid, and then this comes up. Not even worth going back to that thread to prove my point even though the timing is perfect.

I don't know what it would take to try to make that song the top most listened to song this Christmas, but it needs to happen just to make the SJW snowflakes cry. lol.

It's 54 outside right now, and there's a layer of fog that's risen but hasn't burned off. I hate the fog. I've got about 3 whole months of it to deal with. Yay...

~34° now. It's been a good week. Nice and cool, with no fucking rain. My side yard's still a swamp from the relentless rain this year. I'm hoping my new dawn redwood I planted there helps dry it out. It would be cool if it threw up some knees also.

Cold rain fell, all day. Shiver me timbers.

-17 with -22 windchill. Seen colder mind you, but it's quite the dip considered how warm it's been lately.
Pffft. Fake celsius degrees to make it sound extra cold.
 OMG -17°!!!1!1 ... ... oh wait ... that's not even subzero.

Yeah I started the car for 15 minutes and it was barely warm and still had to scrape the windows lol.

Glad I finally put my winter tires on, did it durring a blizzard on the weekend. I kinda have to take my pick. Snow, or extreme cold. It's always going to be one or the other.

Get a kerosine heater for the garage?

Get a kerosine heater for the garage?

Garage is too small to park a car in let alone work on one. I'd have to literally clear it out 100% (which means no room for tools) and even then you have to squeeze out the door to get out. There's like no room to work. I wish it was like 3x bigger, then it would be the size of a normal single car garage.

That's why I'll be converting it into a small wood working shop instead. I need to insulate it and add HVAC and stuff. I tried to work on my snow blower when it broke down last year using a heater but without insulation the heat was not doing much. Ended up just getting a company to come pick it up.

Next property I buy I want it in an unorganized township (no permits needed) and big enough so I can build a huge garage.
