Birth defects happen all the time. In "days of old," these kinds of "defectives" would have been left for the predators so as not to pass on the defective genes.




I'm not sure that this qualifies as either one of those...but maybe a trip deep into the "tigerlands" would be in order.

These kinds of birth defects are rarely genetic.
