Well, just because we adults think a bed or crib is "perfect" for sleeping doesn't think that babies think so! My experience is that they would much, much, much rather sleep on their parents/relatives/caregivers instead.

Yeah, that's true. She does sleep in our arms easier, so i guess the thread is not that they are dumb but that cribs are.

this is what i've read is the answer. babies have to learn how to calm themselves and fall asleep.
