I order a B45O motherboard (ASUS TUF Gaming B450-PLUS II for 5800 X3D and RS 6700 XT. Should I return it back and upgrade to a B550. If so any recommended motherboards?

You just ordered stuff and are having a remorse already? B450 should handle 5800X3D fine. Individual motherboard's quality matters more than the chipsets, imo.

How much was the B450 motherboard? If the difference isn't that much, then sure, you could return it / cancel the order, and get a B550 instead. If going with the B550 is going to cost a lot more, or if there is a restocking fee or something, then I wouldn't bother.

While the B450 will work fine, saving the equivalent of pizza night money is a bad trade off IMO. I'd see what the day after Xmas sales look like, and if there is a good deal on a 5 series board, that B450 would be going back.

As to which board to buy: The 3D doesn't need primo VRMs, so any quality 5 series board will be a great fit. Price and desired features are what pries my wallet open. I ended up with Gigabyte the last few times, because they offered the features and IO I wanted for the lowest price when buying.
