It's for these idiots in HD that no matter how many times you mention you physically have to enter a store to get the deal they bitch about how they can't find it online.

Yea, lingo among the geek cool. I've never seen someone off a forum like this say it.

GEEK COOL.

It's probably going to get lost on page whatever, BUT, I've heard newscasters say B&M when refering to sales over the holiday season, so your argument fails sir.

And I don't mean geek channel newscasters. I mean like Fox, NBC, ABC ect.

B&M is probably the most concise way of indicating a physical store. I suppose efficiency is "geek cool," but it's nothing like "ORLY" or "pr0n" where the kiddies say it because they think it makes them sound l33t.

Newegg is a store too though

if you HAVE to say "local store" or something. This is stemming from the circuit city thread where someone said "if you have to get it right away go to your local B&M".

Dumb. Just call it a store. We'll know what you're talking about, you don't have to be geek cool.

We already know what we're talking about. 😀

I know what it means. Its just stupid. Its being "geek cool". I hate geek cool. Kinda like "teh". I hate all of you that say "teh". You all suck.

since you are the king of geek cool with your 16000+ posts.....you are allowed to tell us what is geek cool or whatever the funk you think youre talking about.

This thread is stupider than the use of the acronym. You my friend are a geek tool.

Liar. Here in normal-land they don't say that.

Well, in the finance industry we use it, too, and I heard it there before I did online. Back during the tech boom, in fact, well before I even joined these forums.
