B&M LiteOn 401s DVD+R $50 WalMart Clearance

I found two in the Seabrook, NH walmart and they rung up at $79 which is not so hot so I left 'em there !

One of the Wal-marts here in Erie, PA has 1 811s (dual w/black bezel) marked at $128... I left it there. Newegg had that NEC for 109. Now, If it were $100 That would be a different story. I have an HP DVD burner and I love it so far.

Just awesome...bought a 401s for $79- (black bezel) at the Maple Grove, MN Wal-Mart (it was the last one, tucked away in the back of the lock up) and flashed it to an 811s with ease. LOL this is SO SWEET. 4x DVD+R to 8x DVD+R and 4X DVD-R in a SNAP.

Quick correction for MN folks - I was at the Brooklyn Park location apparently. The one on 81/169. I thought it was MG still (not from the area). Silly me. 🙂

at the places listed not at $50, but $80-100...do you think if we wait ift will come down to $50?

I personally don't care, at $79 this is a hot deal for 8x+/4x-.

If it does go down, you have 30 days to match it.

It is pretty unlikely though, because my friends went off to other stores today (we've hit Maple Grove and Brooklyn Park, MN) and they are all out...$79 is probably just the price at those stores and they're clearing out at that price so no drop will be necessary.

This deal is a ymmv since some walmarts that have it are tring to clear things out. I was able to get it at the rancho cucamonga walmart in CA. They only had one and the had a 811s on clearance for $150. I think each store is pricing them down until they sell.

Will walmart match out-of-state receipts form other walmart stores?
I.E. - If one of you MN AT'rs would be so kind as to email me a copy of your receipt, could I take it to my store here in Madison, WI and have them do a price match based on that?
Just wondering if anyone has experience with this @ walmart....

Went to 3 Walmarts on Long Island... none of them had any DVD writers on the shelves or in the window case. When asking the electronics clerk about it, all of them said that their particular Walmart doesn't carry them anymore, but couldn't comment about the other Walmarts....

Just figured I would save a few New Yorkers a trip to Walmart for this deal.

It won't work, its one of the walmart golden rules, never pricematch any other walmart store.
