Telus DSL (but i'm in Canada).
I don't worry too much about them cutting me off.
If they do, i switch ISPs. Then when that ISP pisses me off enough, i switch again. Eventually i end up doing a complete cycle, lol.
Over a couple ISPs, i've done around 1500 GBs up & down total since late last year. Maybe more, haven't checked my totals recently.
I thought telus didn't enforce that policy unless you go over 100 GB or something?
I'm using Shaw and they threaten to shut down my connection for exceeding 30 GB up/down combined, in busier areas it's 20 GB
LOL @ 100 GBs. I usually up about 150 GB minimum per month. Nvm. down...
All the Canadian ISPs i have had to deal with are effing lamers.
Telus sent me a letter in spring about my bandwidth.
I ignored it, & uploaded like a mofo, since i figured they'd cut me off

They didn't though.
Now a few wks. ago, my upload speed magically dropped to 15 KB/s instead of its normal 75 KB/s :|
I am gonna call them with an ultimatum soon: either restore my upload speed; or they lose me as a customer
Shaw did the same BS to me in March. They capped all my torrent speeds to 30 KB down & 20 KB up. I could do everything else fine, just not torrents.
Now it looks like Primus is gonna be my next victim
