Azureus NAT Error - FIXED!

I get a NAT error on the configuration test of Azureus whatever port I enter. When I turn my firewall off, it says OK. I put Azureus.exe to be accepted by the firewall, and I still get the NAT error. I'm not even using a router so I don't think port forwarding is an issue.

What is my firewall blocking that causes this? I've already let Azureus.exe be accepted, and when I turn the firewall on again I get the NAT error. When I try to download, I geta blue face only.

Are you using Windows Firewall? I've heard and watched others encounter many problems like that with Windows Firewall. Even though they have it set to accept/send connections, it still seems to block them... I like Sygate Personal Firewall and Kerio Personal Firewall. I never had problems like that with those... if you set it to accept then it will not block it!

I'm not using Windows Firewall - it is disabled. I'm using PC-cillin's Personal Firewall. Am I only supposed to aloow azureus.exe?

In case you haven't, you need to forward the proper ports for Bittorrent through the router to the computer running Azureus. The settings are in the admin site for your router. I think Azureus' website has info on which ones to do.

I've fixed the problem. All I had to do in the firewall settings was to allow the port number for all applications. Currently, I only allowed it for Azureus.
