Stole? More like won via war. America fought the indians, spanish and mexicans, we demolished them, then we took their land fair and square.

You sound proud like it was a fair fight . Guns against bow and arrows . Sounds like a cowards war to me.

You are right, they are illegals Aliens and I don't support them being here. I just don't think they need separate camps for them. The image of them being rounded up and placed in camps brings up bad images from the past in Europe and here in America.

I agree no tents . A one way bus ticket to DC is the wisest move AZ could make let DC deal with it . See how they like it.

It sounds like gubernatorial candidate Dean Martin wants to take Sheriff Joe's idea (which has already been implemented for prisoners who are citizens) and go statewide with it.

The only difference (from the OP's article) is that the new tent jails will be for illegal immigrants who have been convicted of crimes. The article does not state whether or not their only crime is being here illegally.

If it's good enough for citizens, it's good enough for illegals. However, there should be safeguards in place to prevent prisoners from harming each other, and to ensure that they remain healthy.

If it is not illegal to make steel workers work in hot factories, or make army personnel live in tents, it is perfectly all right to house illegeals in unheated tents in the desert. There is no guarantee of air conditioning in the constitution. It is perfectly legal to house them in tents. In fact this may encourage them to get on a bus and go back to Mexico voluntarily. No one forced them to come here. Maybe when they learn this is how they will be treated then they will not come to Arizona.

This is the kind of camp any UN Refugee should expect to live in world wide. In fact any tent we would give them would probably be an improvement over UN Refugee housing. Let them make Mud bricks in the desernt like the jews in captivity at the time of the Pharoes in Egypt. They can build their own Adobe housing.

Make it as miserable and as difficult as possible to be in the country illegally and watch the problem fix itself. Maybe put them in work camps while they are being processed and deported that way we'd turn them into "documented workers". Documented to get shipped out and repay this country for your crimes with 3-6 months hard labor.

If this policy of placing them in tent cities were used for a decade, you'd have a tent city of 10 million illegals. Sounds like Sudan to me.
I believe that Federal law mandates that they cannot be held in camps for more than six (6) months while awaiting deportation.

Similar illegal immigration camps have existed, across the country, for decades.

This is not news... really, it's not.

Not that it was fair, but a native bow was arguably a more effective weapon than most personal firearms at the time.

The reason it wasn't fair was because it was a massive organized army vs a coalition of tribes; and they didn't care about enemy civilian casualties as much.

It is the fact that people like you LABEL and denigrate and feel justified to look at a fellow human as just a fucking miserable label

No compassion ... just loving OUR stolen land too...

You are a moron. Nothing wrong with labels or calling a spade a spade. Maybe if they stopped breaking the law by entering this country illegally they would be "labelled" better. I dont get you people who protect criminals.

This is not for immigrants. This is for illegal aliens. So I am hoping they instead nix the tents and send them back home.

Unrelated topic:
How do we make America friendly to immigrants, but not friendly to illegals?
It seems as soon as we talk about getting rid of illegal aliens someone brings up how this country was founded by immigrants and we are a melting pot and all that stuff.

More importantly, how do we keep these two subjects separated in P&N?

Well an immigrant to this country usually comes through the legal means to get here. An illegal just walks across the border thus becoming a criminal in the eyes of the law. It is a pretty simple concept.

We need to start using analogies to put the idea across the illegal immigrants are douche bags.

Say you're at a movie theatre waiting to buy tickets. You wait in line, you pay a fee, and you get to see a movie. The people waiting in line are like legal immigrants. When you see some dip shit sneak in without paying and without waiting in line, those would be the illegal immigrants. Then some retard comes along and says "hey we can't kick them out of the theatre, they have just as much right to be here as the people who waited in line".

Does it sound stupid? That's because it is. Wait in the damn line and pay your damn fees. Sneaking in should mean execution. Ok maybe that's going too far. Deportation and a friendly "please don't come back" would be enough. Letting them stay is totally unreasonable. It's not fair to all those legal immigrants who took the time to go through all the government bullshit required to be in the country.

Reminds me of the tent cities used for the Marielitos (Cuban refugees in the early 80's). There was one in Miami near I-95 (IIRC), you could see down into it from the interstate when driving by.

Based on my recollection of how that worked out, I'd say it should only be considered for those who would be there short-term awaiting deportation.

Why don't we just make them build the boarder fence and then deport them?

actually, this could be like severance pay or something... good idea... just have them build the fence from the mexico side and when it's done the problem solves itself...

ohh ok. That clears things up now guys.

I think Arizona (or some nearby state) already has a prison that is basically a "tent city" that they put convicted criminals in. I do have a problem with why we put some people in jail but I have never been one to think that jail should be nice and comfy.

If its good enough for criminals that are legal citizens why wouldn't it be good for criminals who aren't legal citizens?

Only a foolish person tries to fight "fair".

IMO, the only "unfair" fights I have ever been in are the ones I lost. You fight to win, using any and every advantage you possibly can to overcome the enemy. If you are not willing to do that then you have no business fighting in the first place and should flee instead. Regardless of what you might think or how it is portrayed in todays world, war is not and was not a sport in which each side should be given equal opportunity to win. When it is win or die I personally prefer the other guy do the dying but thats just me.

Its funny because I am pretty sure you are quite religious and believe highly in the bible. I don't recall God ever fighting fair (especially that time with the angel of death killing all the babies with a flaming sword.... babies/children versus angel with flaming sword sent by an all powerful God seems pretty damn unfair to me) so would you call God a "coward" as well?
