Ayn reason to get Windows XP Plus! ????

I'm just curious. And how much add'l space does it take. I see some of the DLs are around 140-180MB but how much actual HD space? Also what add'l stuff is there? Is it worth getting?

there are a few cool features in the Plus XP, but I don't think it's really worth it.

The best feature is probably the speaker enhancement for me. You can choose your exact speaker model and it'll optimize the output for you. Pretty cool.

Personally, I don't think it's worth it. It's like the Win95 and 98 Plus!.. most people don't find it useful, whereas a few people find some of the features very useful and worth the bucks.

Not really worth the HD space, IMO. That 300 meg could be better used for "illegal" digital music files

Plus! for XP is a huge load of crap. It's nowhere near as useful or entertaining as the Win95 Plus! was, and even that was just so-so.
Personally I wouldn't install it even if it was free. Not worth the space.

...okay well I WILL admit the Oddworld visualization plugin was kinda cool.

what is in winxp plus? imho, there hasn't been anything useful in plus since win 95, and the only useful thing there was IE (good if you didn't have netscape on disk from your isp)

I have it installed and there's nothing that i really really need in there. some of the screensavers are kinda cool. the only reason why i use it is because they have an easy mp3 audio converter that i use to burn wma to cd for my riovolt.
