I want less noise out of my case, anyone have an idea on how to do that. here is my rig

Antec 1030b case
4 PP&PC Silencer Fans
Enermax 450 Power Supply (which is incredibly quiet)
Volcano II

Axia C, Y 1.2 t-bird @ 1.47 (140x10.5)
256 Megs PC133 Cas 2 Crucial Ram
IBM Deskstar 45 gig 7200 ATA 100
Radeon LE vivo - converted to radeon DDR @ 191 mhz.

Please someone help me, the loudest thing is the fan on the volcano. is there a way i can make it less noisy. i run 46C idle, and 53 load. i was thinking take one of the 80mm antec fans and putting it on the volcano instead of the fan it has. is that a good idea, or will it not provide enough air. also, i was thinking about cheap water cooling? some1 help me please, i cant sleep at night w/ this thing on.

Could clock it down and run the fan with a rheo/7 volt trick or you can do watercooling.. which i think is worth it.. :)

The most quiet, and works great. Check out the Noise Control Silverado.
I have posted about this thing several times..no I don't work for them or any thing like that. It is just the best made, and works as advertised part I have ever had.

PS: Check out tomshardware and see what he has to say about this HSF. He tested 42 of them. I had to open my case to see if they were working (twin turbo fans), they are that quiet. And my 1200 tbird is in the high 30's-low 40's.

I used to run 4 antec fans in my SX1030B, ended up disabling the front two, right now the CPU fan (the stock Taisol that comes with the AMD 1.1ghz chip) is mad loud... but I've gotten used to it. If you are looking for a quiet case, I don't think the SX1030B was a wise choice =D

Dcdomain, you have a problem if a Taisol is loud, they have like the quietest fan in the world on them, are you sure it's a Taisol?
