who needs that "learning" crap anyways?

i guess i have to go back someday, but college i'm sure will be alot more interesting, considering it's stuff you WANT to learn.

How long of a time frame did you have in completing the assignment? I am pretty sure there is some time to get some help on the assignment and that the professor is not somewhat of an a$$.

<< Better get it done  >>

well geez...

"Brazil is said to have at times destroyed part of its bumper crop of coffee. Is this not something that would hurt Barzil's economy? Explain."

Well ya it will hurt the economy... they are destroying their damn coffee beans!

Somehow I doubt that will pass as an acceptable answer. (I doubt its even correct cause I dont even know what a bumper crop is)

The logical thing to do would be to post the problem so we could help you... But hey, I'm no economist :D

Edit: Damn, too late :)

They destroy the crop so there is less supply and the price skyrockets.

We've had 3 days. That would be enough time if I knew what to do, but I dont. Besides, I've spent the last 3 days doing more important things like english essay's, oral presentations and studying for psychology.

<< ...and it's not getting done any quicker by posting here! >>

Well if you're actually going to use my answer I should clarify it a bit:

They might not destroy the bumper (excess) crop to increase the price, they may do it just to keep the price from falling drastically. In other words, to keep the price stable.

Then again, they may want more money. ;)

you shoudl compare it to American history when the government was literally paying farmers not to plant crops (becasue there was too low a demand for crops and they were just getting destroyed anyways).

You could draw many comparisons to doing this and supply and demand.

Farming subsidies in America
OPEC nations constantly trying to scale back output to keep prices high
Large corporations having short term plant closings

Guys, that was only question 1 of like 15 questions. I don't have to go into too much detail.
