Can't believe it, first speeding ticket in my whole stinkin life at the age of 37, isn't there a law against giving old women who wear pajamas while taking kids to school a ticket?

You're just not trying hard enough. I was pulled over doing between 75 & 80 in a 1983 Toyota Tercel.

Didn't get a ticket though.

My first speeding ticket was last December, 72 in a 55 (in my Accord).

A few years ago I got a ticket, helicopter spotted me, radioed down to the 4 cops waiting on the freeway on ramp... they proceeded to stop me with the lights, etc....

That sucked.

All my tickets are in my 86' Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais. Granted its more powerful than a hyundai, but still...

And Viper - my frist ticket was nearly 3x the limit

1st isn't so bad, go see if ur county/city has a diversion program and you won't have to worry about it being on ur record. If not, just pay it off, a lot cheaper and no hassle of court dates and the legal system. If you really really dont' want it on your record, just plea bargain down to an inattentive driving fine and pay the fine and court fees.

After getting 8 speeding tickets in a period of 6 months, I have learned my lesson That night in jail wasn' too fun. 20 mph over the limit they can take you to jail, 50 miles...they beat on you for a bit and take you to jail.

Most of my tickets have been when I'm passing some slower moving traffic and I speed up to get around them. WTF :| Only twice have I been all out speeding and gotten caught for it

I got my first speeding ticket 2 years ago, running 84 on 65 limit. The cop only gave me a warning tho. Had he seen me 20 minutes earlier, he'd have booked me--I was running 120 then.

in the last 6 months, i have gone from an average of 95mph on the freeway to about 70-75. I dont know why though, i think i just realized that i'm never in tha tbig of a hurry.

 

First ticket at 37, you should be happy you waited that long.
What is your insurance premium? Like 300 a year!
