I'd love to drive to an emissions test centre with that SmokeHumvee, even if its not from the vehicle's engine.

Anyone remember that video of the US Cargo jet that gets hit by a SAM right by the airfeild, and the pilot manages to emergency land it, all on camera?

A link would be appreciated!

Looked like they were trying to set up an ambush or something. One of them obviously had some kind of rocket launcher.

Wasn't obvious to me. I think it was more of a guess, but from a distance it looks like a long cylinder, which could be several things. The thing I found most odd, was after the first guy in the middle got blown to pieces, the guy to his right ran and hid under the truck, however, the guy to the right at the tractor acted as if nothing was happening, while pieces of his friend were flying over his head. He basically just does nothing.

mmm i assumed it was some sort of weapon... would be interesting to know the circumstances around that whole situation.

made me kind of sad to watch that last guy writhing on the ground... that would suck ass.

Its sad but war is a bitch. Plus, going up against the U.S. military is the stupidest thing you can do.

Well, if one of your buddies that was standing next to you just blew apart and pieces of him were flying all around you, don't you think you might be in a bit of shock and confusion as to what the hell just happened? That might delay your reactions as your mind is trying to make sense of what's going one, and may cause you to just stand there and do nothing, just like the guy in the video. Everyone reacts to things differently. Some people run for cover, some freeze and can't move.

[rant] Plus, ever since this video came out, I've seen nothing but an endless stream of apologetic and sympathizing CRAP from people professing their disgust at the way the 3 men in the video were "engaged". WAR IS NOT A PRETTY THING, and people die in horrible and grizzly ways. Do people honestly think that the Apache crew was just flying around in the countryside and decided on a whim to blow these 3 guys away? The Apache was there for a specific reason, with a specific mission, and I am sure that they had their reasons for dealing with these men in this way. Reasons which need to be known only by the Apache crew and their chain of command. I would rather have these 3 men die in the field like they did than have them be let go only to set up an ambush and kill more coalition soldiers. If it's a choice between them and my neighbor, cousin, brother, whatever, not coming home, then the choice is clear. [/rant]

I counted four - first guy walking, second guy by the tractor, third guy under the truck, fourth guy in the pickup.
