This thing has it all!

-illuminated keys
-a ton of programmable keys, like a whole extra numpad on the left side
-a programmable lcd display!

I can't wait for this thing and the G5 mouse to be released. Logitech will be gettin my dough for sure.

Interesting. But I'd have to type on it to check out the feel. I hate keyboards that don't have the right feel to them. I mean, the primary purpose is to type on them...

How come? I don't use wireless, so I'm wondering how it benefits you. Or is it just a thing about how you have your stuff setup and all...

wireless is a lifestyle. Being able to transport your stuff from across the house, using your KB on the bed, never having the fuss of wires, its just great.
Just coz you're a vegetarian doesnt mean I want to be.

can't wait to see this thing in person, might be worth it to me if it feels good, i'm only on a PS2 keyboard right now because i can't find a USB board with a good feel.

I got some dodgy Microsoft keyboard at the moment....was looking at the Di-Novo from Logitech to match my MX900 mouse.....but I may have to change my mind seeing as I do more gaming than anything else on my PC

Enh, $80 for a keyboard that feels like typing on a sponge. I'll pass. Nice design, though... am I the only one that was reminded of HL2 for some reason?

Well, you still have to transport the transmitter units. And don't forget the part of the lifestyle where you're constantly using up batteries and suffering keyboard lag in games to make up for the fact that there's no super-lame wire between your keyboard and your computer.

The LCD screen looks like a waste since most of that is shown on screen anyway. But the illuminated keys are a big + in my book. Unless the LCD could also tell you FPS, CPU heat, ect., than that would be alright.
