and how is this owning asians exactly? It looks like they were friends and performing, not competing.

Looks like someone has/had issues with asians owning THEM in the past.

😀

Huh? I'm Asian.

After seeing that, I am never going to try my sad, pathetic attempt at the robot again.

I feel bad for those asian kids, it looks they got pwned by the nerd from The O.C.

No I'm referring to the OP. Title like this probably indicates some past problem/issue with asians.

I don't see how this is a nationality thing either. So the guy who can dance happens to be white. This isn't like the olympics where countries sends their best to represent them.
Still a cool video 🙂

I like how the inferiority complex in people is exposed whenever race is mentioned. As if it's really that offensive. Oh no, call the PC police.

You can rename the thread to "silly white goofball dances like robot in front of his asian masters" and I still wouldn't care.

Actual the guy's name is David Bernal and he is Hispanic.

Amazingly, he was also the guy who danced for the Gene Kelley VW Golf GTI commerical. Now THAT was an awesome commercial.

I don't see any inferiority complex in here. The title was definately odd to say the least.
Obviously race really shouldn't have had anything to do with the video - so it seemed kind of odd to make a title focusing on it.

I think YOU'RE being a little too sensitive myself.

lol, I'm not sensitive at all, trust me on that one. People often accuse me of being "un-PC" as if I give a sh!t.

That's my point. There are people who are ultra PC and those who are super "un PC" as you aptly put it. The super "un-PC" people are just as sensitive to any mentions of "race" as the ultra PC people are. Usually, these are the people who deny race is a factor in anything or downplay it to the extreme.

I hate ultra PC - because I feel that they are extreme and many times unreasonable. Blaming everything on "the man." But I'm not blind enough to argue that the issue of race is still not a significant factor in the US. When people come from minority lives/background - they tend to be a little more exposed to this than the normal average "white" american citizen.
