I like tomatoes in all forms but lemme tell ya this is just dang good. You cut up about half a medium-large tomato (throw away all the inside crap) and put it in a bowl with some kosher salt, cracked pepper, and italian dressing.

(not sure why pic sucks but you get the idea)

I used a little more dressing than usual to empty the container, but you don't scoop up a big spoonful of it like a soup. You sort of just dig out the tomato chunks and get a little bit of the dressing in there too.

Try it. It rocks.

What? Cheese and dressing? Or you mean like shredded cheese added to my awesome mix? And yes I put a little more dressing than usual but a good amount is key. Italian dressing is awesome and needs to be used liberally.

Cut up tomatoes, add olive oil, garlic powder, and basil.

Also tastes good if you add a pepper and/or onion to the mix.

The best way to eat tomatoes is raw, with a little bit of salt and pepper. I'll eat them like apples.

Same. I get on kicks with them, where I buy them a lot, and then not so much for awhile.

I like to cut them up with avocado salt, pepper, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar. If you want Italian dressing, make it.

simplest way: pick from vine, pop in mouth.

that is how I eat them all summer. Especially cherry tomatoes, my wife wonders why so few of them make it from the garden to the house.

Instead of Italian dressing, try a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

Add some chopped red onion and you get a version of Pollo Tropical's "Balsamic Tomatoes".

Add "fresh" mozzarella (by that I mean not squares in the vaccum package, nor do I mean Grande cheese (pizza shops know what I mean), nor anything made by Sargento or Kraft. Fresh mozz comes in a container full of brine and the cheese is in little balls.

Why ruin the taste of the tomato with all that stuff? Just add salt and pepper and don't throw away the yummy "inside stuff".
