I can't take him anymore. He means well, but he should just let Hamilton's ghost realize that the sick, sick experiment by the latter never should've happened. Madison actually tried to make the Bill of Rights what would become the 14th Amendment (Link necessary? I hope not, but let me know if you can't google the drafts of the first two amendments!) but the Federalists gave the state so much centralist power... so much so that even the Bill of Rights couldn't do a damn thing and with the 14th Amendment and the constitutionally inherent judicial activism the BoR has done more long term harm than good.

Clay never got to do the damage he wanted, but he set the stage for Stinkin' ass Linkin'... and that makes me wonder what would've happened if William Henry Harrison lived. The South would've been in a much better position to defend themselves if WH Harrison had tried to re-enact Hamiltonian policies after Van Buren got rid of them.

Sorry for the off topic education as it is kind of becoming like my High School Latin classes.

You live in the past too much. Nobody cares about this old dead presidents and what they tried to do back then. We care about the now and future.
