The Monmouth University/Gannett New Jersey Poll found 49 percent of New Jersey adults would like to move out of the state, compared to 44 percent who would prefer to stay and 7 percent who are unsure.

The poll found 51 percent of those who want to leave say they're very likely to make good on that wish, with most of the those who want to leave adults less than 50 years of age and earning between $50,000 and $100,000 per year.


Other top reasons for wanting to leave New Jersey include the weather, environment, longing for a change of scenery, overdevelopment, congestion and government corruption.

I guess I'm a statistic now =) I left!

I've seen those doorbuster lines in Burbank. Plus I doubt those twofers are such nice quality dots. What if the Chinese dots contain lead? Also what if I stand in line all morning for a slash and all they have are backslashes and asterisks?

I do appreciate a good bang for the buck, but I hate waiting in line. I might just pick a couple up next month so I can play with them without having to worry about wear and tear on this one. Only on special occasions

Thanks for your concern, I really do think it's a nice dot though. It has sentimental value to it as well. No need to wake Rossman, the less people who breathe on it the better for its longevity.

I do agree the price of living in NJ, in many parts, is out of hand. A 280k town house is kind of ridiculous. Worst part about that is the job market is not like NYC where everybody gets paid 10-20k more for working in the city. So the cost of living goes up more than our wages.

And yeah, they build the houses before they build the roads. We are surrounded by major cities and NJ is the parking lot.
