Awesome HTPC Keyboard with Trackpad

This is the Logitech Cordless Media Board for Playstation 3. It's wireless (RF, no line of site and no Bluetooth required), super lightweight, and has a built-in trackpad. It works in Windows and OS X and I believe Linux. It is plug-and-play in XP and Leopard, both of which I have tested. The scrollbar works and double-tap to click on the trackpad works. Also, it's wide enough to fit on your lap!

I'm building an HTPC for my parents and needed a good keyboard and this fit the bill PERFECTLY. The price is absolutely unbelievable for what you get. Just thought I'd pass this along...I'd seen it mentioned in another thread but thought it deserved a thread of its own

Works on Windows too, so if you just want to kick back and surf the net, it's great! I've never seen a wireless keyboard with a built-in touchpad this cheap before...ever...

I think that's a discontinued item that's been replaced with a Bluetooth version.

afaik it's not discontinued, it's just a Bluetooth model. You have the options of Bluetooth (black) or RF (silver/black). aphex mentioned that he saw the BT model on clearance at Wal-mart, so who knows...

Oh, I see. I looked under keyboards on Logitech's website and only the bluetooth model is listed there, but if you go under gaming both are there. Weird.

I've been looking for a HTPC keyboard/mouse solution for my HTPC (mac mini). This looks like it will fit the bill nicely. My only concern is the lack of a "Apple" key.

That one has a trackball mouse, which might be better than a touchpad...I think. Pretty similar price though.

So now its between that one, the DiNova, and the one mentioned by the OP. Damn decisions.

Anyways, AFAIK the main differences are that the Mediaboard is silver and RF, and the Mediaboard Pro is black and bluetooth.
