That's a pretty good piece. I knew lots of HA's in the 60's and 70's. MUCH different organization than it is today.

I think those two kissing there in front of the bikes just decided to shock them. In fact, that might be two guys there, making out. It's hard to say -- some of the Angels' women dressed in biker boots, vests and jean jackets, just like the Angels did. But that's the sort of thing they would do all the time, just to freak people out. As if to say, 'What're you looking at? You got a problem with this?

Heh, I knew a couple of Warlocks back in the day, but I didn't go drinking with them or hanging with them and their buddies for any extended period (which always involved drinking) because, as hella' nice as they could be you always knew just by the stories they would casually relate about what they did to their own buddies/members when pissed that violence could break out in heartbeat and that YOU, the guy without the colors, would likely be on the losing end.

I always knew a bunch of leather bikers were all secretly fabulous and gay. I mean they wear leather.
 
I worked with a few of them and also a few of the Invaders back in the 70's at US Steel. Most were fairly decent guys, but that could change in a heartbeat.....
