McDonalds pizza!

I am a BIG fan of pizza. It is my favorite food. Ever. Tied with chicken (in the fried and/or wing variety). I went to Europe when I was in high school, and I expected to have some darn fine pizza in Italy. Nope. I didn't like the pizza in Italy at all. The best pizza I had in Europe was at a McDonalds in Florence - good old New York style. Some street vendor in Nice came in second place. The rest is not really worth mentioning. Maybe I just got unlucky though, because all of the good pizza places around here are owned by Italians.

There was a time about 10 years ago when 7-Eleven sold pizza. I'm pretty sure it didn't make it past the test-market stage. Probably because the ovens were either too expensive or took up too much space. Maybe because they charged $2 for the equivalenty of a slice of pizza when you could go to a pizza place and get a slice for a buck. I don't know. But it was surprisingly good pizza. I worked there, and the pizza had to be thrown away after an hour in the warmer if it wasn't sold. I ate... a lot of hour-old pizza. I wish I could still get that stuff.

and KFC had some small bite size sandwiches for like $.50 man those were great

They have snackers now which are bite sized sandwiches, but they're $1 (or $1.29)

yeah the snackers are ok. but about 12 years ago KFC had some small sandwiches (think called buddies or something like that) that were like 50 cents each. they were yummy but it would take like 6 to fill you up.

They were called Chicken Littles, I believe.

THATS IT! man those things ruled. i would get 6-8 on my way home from wrestling/football practice. hmm

though the snackers are good i think the chicken littles were better.

When I lived in Nova Scotia, McDonald's used to have McLobster once in a while. I never tried it.

Those were awesome. I did see jalapeno cheddar regular doritos recently. It was some kind of limited time thing I think.

They still sell that...we just bought some. It looks nothing like the old stuff though.

There WAS a monster cereal with a wearwolf that was fruit flavored, but that one disappeared. Anyone know what that was called?

They still make Andy Capp Hot Fries, Cheddar Fries, Salsa Fries, and a few other varieties. Is that what you're talking about?

I remember eating a lot of Gremlin's cereal as a kid!

I also miss generic food that was generic. It was in a white box with all capital letters that said 'GENERIC.' I bet it would actually sell now!

Such an evil heinous idea, but they tasted good.......kind of like a raw sugar with faint hint of peppermint....they were even better when they went a little stale and got a little chewy.
I can still find them, thankfully though, the price hasn't skyrocketed like the real thing (30 cents vs $6).

BARF! We have a big container of strawberry ones in the office. So gross...they make everyone feel sick after eating them. I don't know why.

Anyways, you can get them at just about any asian market.
