Nice case. You kinda wonder though if 420w would cut it if one were to utilize all of the bays. A 550w would be more fitting of this case.

There is probally enough room to add at least 1 more ps, maybe 2---I wish that came in IBM black and that shipping on that was $15-$20 I need a couple of these. Its still $60 cheaper than the antec.

That's because Chieftec makes the Antec case. Antec's only a reseller and basically only puts their PS in them. You could do the same thing and call lthem Fred420's if you want.

300 watts carries more than you might think. I have a P3-600, 2 hard drives, 2 CD drives, zip, jaz, floppy, 5 cards and 2 extra fans, and I have no problems.

Other than the power supply glowing red hot on occasion! Just kidding!

I dont think you can even buy the 420 watt CWT ps for $79-better buy 2-If your going to mod a case it may as well be a real full tower like this 1.

Whats with everyone swooning over these massive cases? They seem large and cumbersome, and not very appealing. I just dont find them practical unless you are using it for a server.

There not designed for lan parties-there designed for people who want the best-well the best this side of aluminum. Anything less than a full tower is just messin around-what if you want to add extra power supply for whatever-fans-lights-etc with a full tower you have room for expansion and nothing looks better modded than a full tower and full towers seem less cluttered when you have window-lights etc.

channel well makes antec psus (on my 400watt antec psu, it actually says cwt420. weird!). aesthetically, the case isn't anything to write home about, but in terms of functionality it's damn sexy. solid metal, rounded edges, easy access, antecs are a dream to work with. i own the equivalent of the 830, which i bought directly from chenming (they're actually the ones who make antec, chieftec). i would have bought this if i wanted a full tower (midtowers aren't bad if you're just a normal computer user! )

I've got both Antec and Chieftec and they're basically identical cases aside from the power supplies and case fans. Definitely my favorite case I've found so far.

Got the Chieftec black case for $92 total shipped. Awesome case now waiting to be able to afford the rest of the parts. Had to jump on that price at newegg. And as I had heard the shipping was great. 420 watt power supply looks great and glad I got mine before they sold out I see .
