I've got news for you. I know a rocket scientist-and he smokes weed.
And stoned drivers are far less of a hazard than alcohol drinkers, yet alcohol is legal.
The U.S. is flushing itself down the toilet, and this is a big reason-alcohol.
How did our last president do, you know, the alcoholic?

Many high achievers in our society smoke pot. Sounds like you need to calm down and try some.

And many hard drug users started out with pot. Some are also 6ft under because of such advancement.

find a better dealer

or people who smoke, like i do everyday, should stop exaggerating what marijuana actually tastes like. i smoke only clinic weed i've smoked the highest shelf stuff and the lowest shelf stuff. sure the higher end stuff tastes better, but it by no means tastes great. potency is all i really care about and generally you have to get the higher shelf stuff. living in LA is great, why would I need a dealer?

And many hard drug users started out with water. Should we ban water?

The Government here in Colorado is freaking out, as all of a sudden we have Medical Mary Jane shops on every street corner. :)

Anything that freaks out Government, I am for.

Regarding the quality of pot... I'm just going to have to say that once you have had it wet, you just won't go back.

Perfect example of the abuse of the "medical use" laws!

Why take this loophole seriously if it will be flagrently abused?

Well this just goes to further prove how the whole claim of "medical marijuana" being for "dying patients" only was just nothing more then a giant lie to skirt our current drug laws by those on the left. Since these proponents of legalization couldn't get their ballots passed or even put up for a vote they had to come up with another means to break the law, hence the pitty routine used for Medical marijuana of which maybe only few recipients benifit from while many, many others are getting prescriptions for bullshit reasons and licenses to flaunt the current laws.

The another big lie about pot and its legalization is that it will some how be a cure all for California's budget problems. Of course anyone who knows and understands the spending habits of Sacramento will realize that any profits made off the taxation of any legalized marijuana will be just as misspent as those made off taxing cigs and alcohol. Giving politicians more a new revenue stream does not mean they will change their spending habits anymore so then a shop-o-holic changing their spending habits just because they got a new credit card.

And adderall is legalized crack. Caffeine is a weak legalized crack. Drugs are drugs, and some are deemed acceptable, and some aren't.

While the "hidden agenda" of pot legalization seems to have surprised you, it has been around for a long time, and Medical Maijuana is the thing that is getting it through/changed.

The numbers are staggering when folks are asked to vote Medical Marijuana legal.

That Government will end up profiting is a no-brainer. But it's not your and my taxes they are raising, they are taxing the consumption of Marijuana.

What's the saying?

They came for the crab-legs... but I don't like crab legs. So they took the crab-legs.
They came for the shrimp... but I like Oysters better.

OMG, they took the Oysters!

Uhh.

First of all, I don't see how this is illegal or wrong. What they're doing is from what I understand is completely legal - including this contest. I also noticed something about how you said it's for "dying patients"? I don't know where you got this idea but it's false.

Finally, no single pro-legalization organization or anyone with any importance has said this will fix California budget problem and nor do I think I would. It'd probably help and have other positive effects.
