Award BIOS flash memory unknown??

I have an Asus P3B-F rev 1.03 with BIOS ACPI Revision 1.003A. I have the aflash.exe utility (versions 1.27 & 1.37) and neither can identify the bios flash memory that is in there, so I can't update the BIOS. The actual line reads

Flash Memory: UNKNOWN

Has anyone else encountered something like this, and how did you fix it?

I think version 1.27 is just to new, you may have find an older version...? I`ve seen this with some older BX boards...

Wow.. that's odd... you'd think newer versions would be backwards compatible! :|
