AvP Demo?

The demo was pulled off steam very shortly after its release. You could try pirating it for a little bit and then deleting or buying after your choice. I did this, and deleted in under 30 minutes @_@

Shame, I had high hopes for this game.
I was cautiously hopeful when I learned it was by Rebellion (which of course developed the groundbreaking 1999 game). But then the interviews started coming out. The devs basically said they were going to take everything out that made the first game great, and their new target market was people who can't play games. So much for the hopes.

When the demo came out, after playing a few hours, I basically forced myself to keep playing long enough to place at the top of the scoreboard with all races a couple of times. I wanted to be certain of not having missed any good qualities the game might have. I wouldn't recommend it for anybody. I'm not saying it's a really bad game - I'm saying there's no reason to play it.
