Avoiding firewalls for web cams

I'm sure a lot of people who use a college LAN know that there are firewalls that block live video streaming, via TCP/IP. Does anyone know of a way around it?
 
Sure... You can purchase a cable modem or DSL account with a local ISP. Check with your University first, they can probably recommend a good ISP. Also check to make sure it'll work with the University phone switching hardware (DSL) or cable drops (cable).
