I would have expected something like that from Ashlee Simpson, but not Avril. Oh well. That song does get catchy after a while though, sad to say.

But yeah, I'd still hit that from behind repeatedly. Besides, she's got some nice DSL's.

If I was 30 years younger, I'd be sooo in "love" with her for about a week after seeing that! :D:D

Not a fan of Pop music, but that's a catchy tune with some attitude(though very juvenile) and she's got a good voice. Perfect combination for a Teeny Bopper feel good movie. Buffy the Vampire Slayer or one of the Night of the Living Dead sequel types of Teen movies.

she's like jennifer anniston's slutty little sister. Of course, I don't know if she really is slutty - she could be a church going, god fearing young lady. But we like to assume anyone in the limelight is a slut - they just won't f*ck ME, for some odd reason..

When the Beatles' "I want to hold your hand" became a hit, I stopped criticizing pop music as being trite.

fixed and agreed. ;)

honestly though, as hot as she is, she's always just been kind of a poser/follower... kind of the hypocrite to what she used to sing about when she was new to the music scene. i mean, she was a cheerleader! and now she tries to be punk, and looking at that video she's trying to just become the next pop star and move away from the punk image partly.
then again, its morning in my dorm and i had it on mute, so i was going on looks alone. lol

and now that's she's a little older I won't feel as guilty

<--- has every chance in the world to get her, just not trying!

Even IF that's the truth man, no one really cares.

You date her, then someone might.

to say you CAN, but WON'T only implies you're gay or a eunuch

The Bangles had a lot more talent, listen to "Dover Beach," "If She Knew What She Wants" or their version of "Hazy Shade of Winter."

Avril's "Girlfriend" was on the welcome screen of Napster yesterday so I clicked it out of curiosity. Yikes, quite a bit worse than her first few songs which were decent punkish pop.

Maybe it was the drumbeat but the song reminded me of "Oh Mickey you are so fine, you are so fine you blow my mind, Hey Mickey!"

The Bangles are my guilty 80's pop music pleasure. They did a nice cover of "Where Were You When I Needed You" as well.
