I have been readin about the AXIA chip being very good.
I have seen a comparison of the
AXIA and the
AVIA
and the AVIA is a little faster. Form a comparison on an AMD overclocker site.

I just go this AVIAR. Does the R mean anything? As in 5 characters compard to 4 in the AXIA or AVIA.
there is a Y for the first character in the bottom line

Anyone know how fast I can go?

I posted at 1300 but no go. 1200 was not stable.
1150 Is what I get however the PWS is only a 300 watt with AMD rating to 1G

Question should I invest in a better power supply or is 1150 the best I can hope for?

Well I dunno, your chip might not be up to anything past 1150.

To give you an idea. I have an AXIA Y, 1G flavor. It posted and booted into windows 2k at 1466 right when i popped it in on the 1st boot. I had the bios set up for the last chip i was using mistakedly. This is using generic heat sink grease (Radio Trash brand) and a Thermoengine. I felt it was going too hot so I scaled back to 1.33 until I get watercooling.

You may want to play with the voltage but watch your temperatures. Right now mine's at 1.80 running at 1.33.

Good luck!

[EDIT:] your PS should be OK if it's 300Watts.
